July 6, Fineko/abc.az. AzerGold sold 248,000 ounces of gold (7.71 tons) and 446,000 ounces of silver (13.9 tons) during the 5-year period of activity.

ABC.AZ reports that this is said in the written statement of company’s chairman of board Zakir Ibragimov about the 5-year activity of AzerGold CJSC.

The chairman of board noted that during this period 248,000 ounces of gold and 446,000 ounces of silver were sold for totally AZN 639 million.

At that, over 5 years the state investments in the implementation of the company's projects amounted to AZN 47 million (7.3% of company's trade turnover).

Over past 5 years the company has paid taxes and duties to the State Budget of the country in the amount of over AZN 55.5 million.
