Turkey sends 100,000 boxes of medicines to Azerbaijan

July 7, Fineko/abc.az. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has approved the Agreement on Mutual Understanding between the governments of Turkey and Azerbaijan on the provision of medical care.

ABC.AZ reports that the document was signed on 31 March 2021.

On behalf of the Turkish government the agreement was signed by Deputy Health Minister Khalil Eldemir and on behalf of the Azerbaijani government by Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Turkey Khazar Ibrahim.

According to the document, Turkey will send 100,000 cases of favipiravir to Azerbaijan.

This medicine, provided as an aid, will be used in the provision of health services in Azerbaijan.
