July 7, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan and Pakistan have both political and economic ties. The newly established Chamber of Pakistan-Azerbaijan Economic Cooperation (PAKAZCHAM) will play an important role in the development of these relations.

ABC.AZ reports that the above-said statement was made by Deputy Economy Minister Elnur Aliyev.

He also noted that discussions are underway about the opening of an Azerbaijani trading house in Pakistan.

The deputy minister also spoke about the agreement on the elimination of double taxation signed last year between the two countries and invited Pakistani entrepreneurs to invest in Azerbaijan.

"We believe PAKAZCHAM will contribute to this process," he said.
