Khankendi included in Karabakh Economic Region

July 7, Fineko/abc.az. The Karabakh Economic Region has been created.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the presidential decree on the new division of economic districts of Azerbaijan.

According to the decree, the following districts of Azerbaijan are included in the Karabakh Economic Region: Agdam, Shusha, Fizuli, Terter, Khojavend, Khojaly districts and the city of Khankendi, as well as Agjabedi and Barda districts.

Earlier the city of Khankendi was included in the Upper Karabakh Economic Region. According to today's presidential decree, this economic region has been liquidated.
