July 15, Fineko/abc.az. The domestic industrial enterprises and private entrepreneurs produced industrial output for AZN 23.1 bn for the past half-year (0.3% less versus Jan-Jun 2020).

This decline occurred because of decrease of 3.2% in the production of the oil & gas sector, while production in the non-oil & gas sector increased by 16.6%, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee.

62.6% of industrial output accounted for the mining sector, 31.3% for the manufacturing sector, 5.2% for generation, distribution and supply of electric energy, gas and steam, 0.9% for the water supply, waste treatment and recycling sector.

In the mining sector the commercial oil production lowered by 3.7% and commercial gas extraction grew by 8.8%.
