July 16, Fineko/abc.az. For the first time Chinese brand Xiaomi took the second place in the global smartphone market, ahead of Apple.

ABC.AZ reports that following the 2nd quarter of this year Xiaomi's market share increased up to 17% with an increase in deliveries by 83%.

The share of Apple for this period made up 14%, and the supply of its products increased only by 1%.

The leader is still S Korean company Samsung with share of 19%.

According to research, Xiaomi is developing rapidly, having increased sales in Latin America by 300% for one year and in Europe by 50%. And in the global market the overall growth was 83%. For comparison, this growth was 15% in Samsung and only 1% in Apple.
