Azerbaijani population’s euro-in-cash purchases from banks for Jan-Jun

July 27, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Jun 2021 the Azerbaijani population purchased 82.574 million euro in cash from commercial banks (35.9% less versus Jan-Jun 2020).

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the indicators published by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan

The report says that in June the country’s population bought 18.642 million euro (2.5-fold more than in May).

In addition, in the 1st half of this year the population sold 31.619 million euro in cash to banks (29.2% less year-on-year). In June alone this figure amounted to 6.225 million euro (6.8% more in monthly comparison).
