Oil gets cheaper after significant rise, and Brent is at $75.50 a barrel

July 30, Fineko/abc.az. Prices are declining in Friday’s trading after rising the day before up to the highest for more than 2 weeks.

According to Dow Jones, on Thursday, the Brent and WTI oil grades showed significant growth in dollar and percentage terms from 22 July, reaching the highest levels since 13 July.

By 9:20 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the September’s Brent crude futures fell by $0.55 (0.72%) to $75.50 per barrel. Following the trading on 29 July the Brent crude futures for September soared in price by $1.31 (1.75%) up to $76.05 per barrel.

By 9:20 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the price of the September’s WTI oil futures fell by $0.55 (0.75%) to $73.07 per barrel. Following the trading on 29 July the price of WTI futures for September increased by $1.23 (1.70%) up to $73.62 per barrel.
