Azerbaijan has reported on export for Jan-Jun

July 30, Fineko/abc.az. The value of Azerbaijan's exports for the first 6 months of the year amounted to US$8.8 bn and the non-oil sector - US$1.2 bn.

ABC.AZ reports that this statistical data was presented in July’s issue of the Export Review.

The issue says that exports in the non-oil sector increased by $248 million or 27.1% compared with Jan-Jun 2020.

Although the main driver of exports in the current period is the oil sector, in the recovery period the share of non-oil exports increased up to 13.2%. During the period under review, there was an increase in oil and gas exports per capita.

Thus, oil & gas exports for the first 6 months of 2017 reached $82 a year, in 2018 – $94, and in 2019 - $97.

Although this figure fell to $91 due to the pandemic, it rose up to $116 for the first time in history in the first 6 months of this year.
