Oil gets more expensive, and Brent is at $71.70 a barrel

August 6, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades are increasing in Friday’s auction.

By 11:05 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the October’s Brent crude futures grew by $0.41 (0.58%) up to $71.70 per barrel. Following the trading on 5 August the Brent oil futures for October increased in price by $0.91 (1.29%) up to $71.29 per barrel.

By 11:05 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the price of the September’s WTI oil futures increased by $0.45 (0.65%) up to $69.54 per barrel. Following the trading on 5 August the WTI futures for September rose in price by $0.94 (1.38%) up to $69.09 per barrel.
