Aliyev and Erdogan discussed situation on Armenia-Azerbaijan border


August 6, Fineko/abc.az.  During today’s phone conversation Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev once again expressed his condolences to Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan over the deaths of people as a result of heavy forest fires in various parts of fraternal Turkey. President Aliyev also briefed the Turkish leader about the provocations committed by Armenia on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

ABC.AZ reports that the Presidential Administration press service informed about this. The Azerbaijan head of state stressed that the Azerbaijani Army was giving an adequate response to Armenian provocations.

In his turn, President Erdogan said that Turkey always stood by brotherly Azerbaijan.

Both countries’ leaders also exchanged views about regional processes in the post-conflict period.
