Gas extraction from Shah Deniz field increased by 6%

August 6, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st half of this year 10 bn standard cu m of gas and about 1.9 million tons (15.1 million barrels) of condensate were produced from the Shah Deniz Alpha and Shah Deniz Bravo platforms located at the Shah Deniz field, ABC.AZ reports with a link to BP-Azerbaijan.

During the reporting period gas extraction from the Shah Deniz field increased by 6%, while condensate production remained unchanged.

The capacity of the Shah Deniz installations is 70 million standard cu m per day (25 bn cu m a year). The growth in the annual comparison made up 25%.
