3.66 bn barrels of oil carried via BTC

August 6, Fineko/abc.az. As of 1 July of this year more than 488 million tons (about 3.66 billion barrels) of oil were pumped through the main export pipeline Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC).

ABC.AZ informs with reference to BP-Azerbaijan that oil was shipped to 4,796 tankers in Ceyhan and sent to world markets.

According to BP-Azerbaijan’s report, over 13 million tons (about 99 million barrels) of crude oil and condensate exported by BTC were shipped to 137 tankers for Q2 of this year.
