115 million barrels of oil and condensate exported from Sangachal terminal

August 6, Fineko/abc.az. For the 1st half of this year 115 million barrels of oil and condensate were exported from the Sangachal terminal (9.45% less against 1st half of 2020).

ABC.AZ informs with reference to BP-Azerbaijan that over the past one year, the volume of oil exported from the terminal via the main export pipeline Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) decreased by 10.8% to 99 million barrels, and the oil exported via the Western Export Pipeline remained unchanged – 16 million barrels.

In addition, for the first 6 months of 2021 an average of about 55 million standard cu m (more than 1.93 bn standard cubic feet) of gas from Shah Deniz was exported daily from the terminal (6.9% more against the same period of last year).

The daily capacity of the terminal's technical processing systems currently amounts to about 1.2 million barrels of oil and condensate, and gas from Shah Deniz – about 81 million standard cu m of gas. The total gas processing and export capacity (including associated gas ACG) is about 100 million standard cu m per day.
