April 3, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan has presented the report on the sustainability of energy supply of Baku.

According to the report, interruption in the power supply reached 0.78 hours or 0.98 times on average in 2017.

"This figure is below the level of previous years, and the cause of that is modernization of 25 of the existing 33 substations with capacity of 110 kW and construction of 80 substations with capacity of 35 kW, four of which were commissioned last year. Also, laying of underground cable lines on 90% of the capital’s territory and the created circuit of power supply have had a positive impact on the stability of the energy supply of the capital," the Ministry’s report says.
