Over AZN 9 million spent on vaccination of animals

August 31, Fineko/abc.az. More than AZN 9 million were spent on vaccination of small and large cattle in Azerbaijan, ABC.AZ reports citing Agricultural Services Agency’s chairman Mirza Aliyev.

According to Aliyev, this year the vaccination is expected to be about the same, but this will become clear after the seromonitoring.

"Currently, the number of small cattle in Azerbaijan is 7.6 million heads, and the number of cattle is 2.5 million heads. In total, 33.5 million vaccinations were injected to animals during the year. This means that 3.3 units of the vaccine are administered to one animal during the year," Aliyev emphasized.
