Azerbaijan has changed terms of import with 23 countries

September 1, Fineko/abc.az. Like all living beings, plants have had, have and will have diseases. In different periods, some modern diseases of viral origin also appear.

ABC.AZ reports that AQTA (Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency) chairman Goshgar Tahmazli made the above-said statement at a press conference dedicated to the topic of ensuring plant health in the country.

He noted that each country has obligations: "When exporting, the importer must fulfill the obligations to prevent the spread of plant-based diseases on the territory of the country."

According to Tahmazli, in connection with the purification of vegetable seeds imported into the country from viruses and bacteria, the import conditions with 23 countries were changed.
