Oil gets cheaper, and Brent is at $71.35 a barrel

September 2, Fineko/abc.az. Prices are declining in Thursday’s trading after OPEC+’s decision to keep an increase in oil production.

The OPEC+ states’ ministers decided at yesterday's meeting that production will be increased by 400,000 b/s in October.

By 9:17 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the November’s Brent crude futures fell by $0.24 (0.34%) to $71.35 per barrel. Following the trading on 1 September the price of Brent oil futures for November fell by $0.04 (0.06%) to $71.59 per barrel.

By 9:17 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the price of October’s WTI oil futures decreased by $0.30 (0.44%) to $68.29 per barrel. Following the trading on 1 September the October’s WTI oil futures grew in price by $0.09 (0.13%) up to $68.59 per barrel.
