Russia did not allow import of 19 tons of nectarines from Azerbaijan

September 3, Fineko/abc.az. The Federal Service for Veterinary & Phytosanitary Supervision of Russia (Rosselkhoznadzor) revealed brown moniliose rot (Monilinia fructicola) during the phytosanitary control of a batch of 18.7 tons of nectarines imported from Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that the presence of monilious rot in fruits was confirmed by the laboratory conclusion of the Dagestan branch of the subordinate Service of FSVPSR "VNIIKR".

In this regard, measures were taken in accordance with the phytosanitary legislation of the Russian Federation, and the goods were returned to Azerbaijan.
