Memorandum signed between Azerbaijan Investment Holding and Islamic Corporation

September 6, Fineko/abc.az. The Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Azerbaijan Investment Holding (AIH) and the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD), which is a division of the Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDBG), ABC.AZ was informed at the holding.

The document was signed by EBRD Director General Ruslan Alikhanov and ICD Director General Ayman Amin Sejini.

According to the Memo, the parties will cooperate in order to support state-owned companies under the management of AIH in the field of sukuk emissions (sukuk is the Islamic equivalent of bonds).
