2,557 new covid cases detected in Azerbaijan

September 8, Fineko/abc.az. For the last 24 hours Azerbaijan detected 2,557 new cases of coronavirus infection (COVID-19), while 3,592 people were reported as recovered, and 39 people with coronavirus died.

According to the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet Ministers, 450,282 cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded in Azerbaijan so far, 393,569 people have been cured, 5,959 have died, and the number of active patients is 50,754.

Over the past 24 hours 15,220 tests were carried out, 4,593,820 tests for coronavirus were conducted for the entire time.
