Oil gets more expensive, and Brent is at $72.11 a barrel

September 10, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades are increasing in Friday’s trading after falling at the end of the last session.

By 10:50 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the November’s Brent crude futures rose by $0.66 (0.92%) up to $72.11 per barrel. Following the trading on 9 September the price of Brent oil futures for November fell by $1.15 (1.58%) to $71.45 per barrel.

By 10:50 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the price of October’s WTI oil futures grew by $0.59 (0.87%) up to $68.73 per barrel. Following the trading on 9 September the price for October’s WTI oil futures collapsed by $1.16 (1.67%) up to $68.14 per barrel.

According to Trading Economics, the price of Brent oil for this week may fall by about 1% and the price of WTI more than by 2%.

The published data from the US Department of Energy showed a decrease in country’s oil reserves last week by 1.53 million barrels up to 423.87 million barrels.
