Azerbaijan met its obligations within OPEC+ deal for August

September 10, Fineko/abc.az. In August 2021 the average daily oil production (with condensate) in Azerbaijan amounted to 711,600 barrels – 596,100 barrels of crude oil and 115,500 barrels of condensate.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Ministry of Energy that according to the decision of the OPEC+ ministers adopted in July 2021, Azerbaijan's commitment to cut production in August was to amount to 91,000 barrels, and daily crude oil production was to be increased by 7,000 barrels compared with July up to 627,000 barrels.

Thus, Azerbaijan fulfilled its oil production obligations within the OPEC+ deal by 104.9% in August.
