Oil gets more expensive, and Brent is at $74.07 a barrel

September 15, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades are growing in Wednesday’s trading.

By 10:40 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the November’s Brent crude futures grew by $0.47 (0.64%) up to $74.07 per barrel. Following the trading on 14 September, the price of Brent oil futures for November increased by $0.09 (0.12%) up to $73.60 per barrel.

By 10:40 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the price of October’s WTI oil futures rose by $0.47 (0.67%) up to $70.93 per barrel. Following the trading on 14 September, the price of October’s WTI oil futures grew by $0.01 (0.01%) up to $70.46 per barrel.

The International Energy Agency (IEA) reports that the global oil supply in the world in August decreased by 540,000 b/d (compared with the previous month) to 96.1 million b/d. IEA monthly report says that it is expected that it will remain at the same level in September.
