September 20, Fineko/abc.az. The development of beekeeping in the Karabakh region and the abundance of the harvest will also affect the price of honey. So, in the future, prices for honey are expected to decrease.

ABC.AZ reports that the above-said statement was made by Badreddin Khasratov, the chairman of the Association of Beekeepers of Azerbaijan.

According to Khasratov, this year beekeepers have received high harvest in the territories liberated from occupation:

"Beekeeping in the Karabakh region has long been one of the developed industries. After the liberation of our lands from occupation, beekeeping is developing again in these territories. In total, more than 4,000 bee families have been relocated to the Kelbajar and Lachin plateau. This year, the yield in these places was high. So, about 50 kg of honey was received from each hive."
