Banks report decline both on total liabilities and deposits

September 22, Fineko/abc.az. In August, the total liabilities of banks decreased by AZN 286.7 million.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to Central Bank's indicators on the banking sector.

Banks’ total liabilities as of 31 August 2021 amounted to AZN 28.613 bn.

Including in August, deposits declined by AZN 99.6 million to AZN 22.749 bn.

Compared with July, banks’ total capital grew by AZN 45.3 million up to AZN 4.813 bn in August. Compared with the end of 2020 (Jan-Aug), the total capital of banks increased by AZN 114.5 million.
