Over past 8 months Azerbaijan paid interests on deposits for over AZN 230 million

September 23, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Aug 2021 the Azerbaijani banks paid interests on the attracted deposits in the total amount of AZN 232 million.

Interest rates on bank deposits increased by AZN 27.6 million or 13.5% compared with the same term of 2020. For the past 8 months of 2020 the banks paid deposit interests in the amount of AZN 204.4 million.

For entire 2020 the Azerbaijani banks paid AZN 312.9 million on deposits and for 2019 – AZN 372.4 million.
