Central Bank: Azerbaijan may reduce accounting rate to single-digit level

April 9, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) will re-consider the level of the accounting rate this June.

CBA chairman of board Elman Rustamov has stated that today the level of the accounting rate has been reduced from 13% to 11%.

"Once again the size of the accounting rate will be considered in June and, depending on the macroeconomic situation, that is, if the situation does not change, the rate can be reduced to one-digit level," Rustamov said.
