Azerbaijan's export for past 8 months carried out for $13 bn

September 30, Fineko/abc.az. According to September’s issue of the Export Review, for the first 8 months of 2021 Azerbaijan's exports reached $13 bn and the non-oil sector export $1.6 bn.

ABC.AZ reports that country’s non-oil exports increased by $429 million or 37.1% against Jan-Aug 2020.

For the past 8 months of 2021 the main share in non-oil exports of fruit and vegetable products amounted to $364.7 million. An increase in the non-oil export was recorded on export of ferrous metals and products made from them (1.5-fold), yarn (3.1-fold), sugar (2.2-fold), chemical industry products (by 68%), cotton fiber ( by 88.5%), aluminum and products made from it (by 45%). Over Jan-Aug 2021 refined cotton ($143.8 million) took the 1st place, gold ($140.1 million) - the 2nd place, and tomatoes ($128.2 million) - 3rd place in the list of exported goods of the non-oil sector.
