October 5, Fineko/abc.az. For the first 9 months (Jan-Sept) of 2021 the Ministry of Finance raised AZN 1.326 bn by placing government bonds.

ABC.AZ reports that this exceeds the upper limit of domestic government borrowing for 2021 in the amount of AZN 1.3 bn. The amount of manats provided for in the Law on the State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2021.

Thus, compared with the same period in 2020, the amount of finances raised increased by 1.9 times or by AZN 615.98 million. In the period from January to September 2020 the government bonds were placed for AZN 711.39 million. The volume of the secondary market of government bonds for the first 9 months of last year amounted to AZN 383.203 million and for the first 9 months of this year – AZN 745.156 million.
