October 12, Fineko/abc.az. For the first 9 months of this year 530,649 Volvo cars were sold in the world (17.6% more against Jan-Sept 2020).

According to the press service of the Swedish brand, sales growth was recorded in Europe, China and the U.S. It occurred despite the difficult conditions in the current year, which are associated with a global shortage of components caused by the suspension of production by suppliers due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The world's most popular Volvo model was the XC60 crossover. A total of 162,596 such cars were sold from January to September 2021. In second place is XC40, which was chosen by 156,920 buyers. The third place is occupied by Volvo XC90. In the first 9 months of 2021, 80,402 vehicles were sold in the world.
