Energy Minister: Azerbaijani government satisfied with current oil price

17:13 - 14.10.2021

October 14, Fineko/abc.az. The current oil prices satisfy Azerbaijan, but their stability is a priority.

ABC.AZ reports that Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov stated about this to journalists within the framework of the Russian Energy Week.

The minister noted that as a manufacturing country, this price, of course, satisfies us.

"But the main thing is that this price is stable. The main goal is that the oil price should be stable and predictable," he said.

At that, Shahbazov noted that Azerbaijan would not like a higher oil price.

"We believe these prices may be even slightly lower. They should be such that there is comfort not only for the producing countries, but also for the consumer countries," he added.
