Population’s manat deposits at banks decreased

October 26, Fineko/abc.az. According to the Central Bank, as of 1 September the amount of population’s deposits at banks in the equivalent of the national currency reduced by AZN 46.8 million to AZN 8.559 bn.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that 55.3% of deposits were made in national currency and 44.7% in foreign currency.

In September, the average exchange rate of the national currency against 1 US dollar amounted to 1.70 (since the beginning of the year 1.70) manats, to 1 euro - 2 (2.04) manats, to 100 Turkish lira - 19.93 (21.13) manats, to 100 Russian rubles - 2.33 (2.30) manats.
