Hotels’ income has grown more than by 62%

October 27, Fineko/abc.az. For Jan-Sept 2021 hotels’ earnings increased by 62.4% (against Jan-Sept 2020) up to AZN 154.1 million.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that 60.8% of the income was received from services for provision of rooms, 28.6% from catering services, 2.3% from treatment and healthcare services, 8.3% from other services.

Over Jan-Sept 2021 the use of a one-time capacity of hotels (number of seats) made up 11.2% (for Jan-Sept 2020 - 7%).

This indicator was lower than the average in Shabran - 83.1%, Beylagan - 24.7%, Guba - 21.3%, Naftalan - 21.0%, Lankaran - 20.4%, Gabala - 17.5%, Shamkir - 13.8%, Agjabedi -13.8%, Baku - 13.5%, Jalilabad - 13.2%, Barda - 13.0%, Shemakha - 11.4%, other cities and districts.
