October 29, Fineko/abc.az. 750 companies have already joined the Green Corridor system and make up about 30% of total exports and 41% of imports.

ABC.AZ reports that State Customs Committee chairman of the (SCC) Safar Mehdiyev made the above-mentioned statement, when speaking on the topic "Strengthening public-private partnership in the field of customs control & clearance".

Stressing that they attach special importance to international cooperation and proposals of foreign enterprises, Mehdiyev noted that a new Customs Code has been prepared to ensure competitive economy, and innovations in world trade are taken into account in the reforms in the customs sphere in Azerbaijan.

The SCC chair stressed that digitalization of services will not only provide easy and convenient access to these services for the population, but also further increase the possibilities of optimizing the existing system.
