November 11, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev has received BP Group CEO Bernard Looney. 

ABC.AZ reports that BP Group CEO Bernard Lunin congratulated the head of state on the successes achieved by Azerbaijan over the past period. 
Expressing gratitude for the congratulations, President Aliyev, in his turn, congratulated Mr. Looney on the joint successes achieved in connection with the Southern Gas Corridor, and once again stressed that this project was realized as a result of joint efforts of Azerbaijan and BP.

During the conversation, it was noted that BP's interest in renewable energy sources conforms to Azerbaijan's energy strategy, and issues of expanding cooperation with BP in this area were discussed.
