List of spheres with the largest part of the employed population

November 16, Fineko/abc.az. According to the preliminary data of the State Statistics Committee, as of 1 November the number of economically active population is 5.299 million people.
 
ABC.AZ reports that 24.0% of employees at enterprises and organizations were engaged in the production sector, including 7.6% in construction, 7.6% in the processing industry, 3.5% in agriculture, forestry and fishing, 1.9% in mining, 1.9% in water supply, waste treatment and processing, 1.5% in the generation, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam.                  
 
Of those who work in the service sector, 19.2% were employed in education, and 18.6% in trade; repair of vehicles, 8.2% in the field of health and social services to the population, 6.6% in public administration and defense; social security, 5.2% in the field of administrative and support services, 4.3% - in transport and warehousing, 3.5% in professional, scientific and technical activities, 3.1% in the field of recreation, entertainment and art, 1.8% in financial and insurance activities, 1.7% in the field of ICT, 1.7% in tourist accommodation and catering, 1.1% in other services and 1.1% in real estate transactions.
