Water supply to Kelbajar district provided


November 25, Fineko/abc.az. National water supply operator Azersu is ongoing work on the restoration and reconstruction of water supply systems in the territories liberated from occupation.
ABC.AZ was informed at the Azersu Public Relations Department that urgent measures were taken in Kelbajar district, and water supply to the city, water supply to military and civilian facilities was ensured.
The restoration of the drinking water supply systems of the district center began after Kelbajar district was liberated from occupation. 
In a short time, water intake facilities were installed at the confluence of the Vel and Garakhach rivers and their use as a source of drinking water began. Emergency sections were repaired at 96 points of the 220 mm diameter 27 km long steel main water pipeline laid from the water source to the city of Kelbajar and water supply to the city was provided.
