December 6, Fineko/abc.az. Regular negotiations between the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency (AQTA) and the Federal Service for Veterinary & Phytosanitary Surveillance of Russia (Rosselkhoznadzor) are yielding positive results.

Thus, Rosselkhoznadzor, based on the results of phytosanitary monitoring conducted by Agency’s employees at tomato and apple growing enterprises, analysis of laboratory test protocols of product samples and monitoring certificates, as well as AQTA guarantees, from 6 December 2021, allowed the export of tomatoes from 7 more enterprises, and apples from 5 enterprises. So, in total, to date, the relevant body of the Russian Federation has issued export permits to 212 tomato producer and 76 apple producer enterprises.
