1,530 new cases of COVID-19 infection detected in Azerbaijan

December 7, Fineko/abc.az. For the last 24 hours Azerbaijan has registered 1,530 new cases of coronavirus infection (COVID-19), including 1,864 recovery and 21 death cases.

According to the Cabinet Operational Headquarters, 598,503 cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in Azerbaijan so far (of them, 567,385 recoveries and 8,004 deaths). The number of active patients was 23,114.

Over the past 24 hours 12,863 tests were conducted to detect new cases of COVID-19 infection. Thus, the rate of tests carried out since the beginning of the pandemic has reached 5,621,021 tests.
