December 8, Fineko/abc.az. The 5th International Banking Forum "Cashless Economy: Reliable, Safe & Sustainable" has been held in Baku.

ABC.AZ reports that at the forum Deputy Minister of Digital Development & Transport Rovshan Rustamov, touching on some nuances, noted that the concept of digital transformation in Azerbaijan will lead to the fact that digitalization will be applied in all districts of the country.

"Our ministry intends to introduce intelligent technologies. An ecosystem of startups should be formed to promote financial technologies. We are already preparing the relevant legislative framework and will soon submit it for public discussion. At the heart of all this is the Absheron Valley, which will become a national analogue of the "Silicon Valley" in the U.S.," Rustamov emphasized.
