Labor Minister: Over past 3 years Salary Fund increased by 92%

December 8, Fineko/abc.az. The Salary Fund increased by 92% for 2018-2021, ABC.AZ reports citing Labor & Social Protection Minister Sahil Babayev.

He noted that during this period the minimum wage has almost doubled, the average wage by 40%, and the median wage by 75%.

The minister stressed that over the past 4 years more than 230,000 people have been provided with jobs by state employment services.

"At that, there are problems with skilled labor force in the labor market. Today they make up only 35% of the labor market. In the next period, we should pay attention to the increase in this indicator," the minister said.
