Uncertified hotels to be fined AZN 5,000

December 14, Fineko/abc.az. Hotels that have not passed certification and have not received a star category in accordance with Article 9.1 of the Law on Tourism will be fined in the amount of 2,000 up to 5,000 manats.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the amendment to the Code of Administrative Offences.

So, with the change, a new article is added to the Code (428-1 violation of tourism legislation).

A fine of 300 manats will be imposed for failure to submit or untimely updating of the tourist register data.

A fine of 200 manats will be imposed for late e-registration of persons using hotel accommodation services.
