December 17, Fineko/abc.az. The Ganja agricultural sector produced 65.6 tons of meat in live weight, 475.5 tons of milk, 575,500 eggs, 2.6 tons of wool for Jan-Nov 2021.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Ganja City Statistical Office that production of milk grew by 40.9 tons (by 9.4%), meat by 28.3 tons (1.8-fold), eggs by 367,500 pieces (2.8-fold) compared with the same term of 2020.

Over the reported term 61.2 hectares were sown in Ganja (including 29.0 hectares of cereals and legumes and 32.2 hectares of vegetable crops). Besides, 52.5 tons of grain, 103.4 tons of vegetables, 847.2 tons of fruits and berries, 463.5 tons of grapes were harvested from the fields.

Currently, the sowing of winter crops on the sown areas is approaching to the end. As of 1 December, 29.0 hectares of winter barley were sown for the harvest of 2022.
