December 20, Fineko/abc.az. A meeting with the participation of the Ministry of Ecology & Natural Resources of Azerbaijan, a number of scientists and specialists has been organized under the chairmanship of Baku mayor Eldar Azizov.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Baku City Mayor’s Office that during the meeting it was noted that some species of pine trees planted long before are drying out in some areas of Baku with complex landscape and dry climate, and this seriously concerns governmental agencies, the public and residents.

A decision was made at the meeting that experts from abroad will be invited in Baku to determine the issues of protection of coniferous trees.
