Davos Economic Forum cancelled because of omicron strain

December 20, Fineko/abc.az. The omicron strain began to spread rapidly. Cases of infection have already been registered in a range of European countries.

ABC.AZ reports that the Davos Economic Forum scheduled for next year has been canceled due to the omicron strain. This is stated on the official website of the Davos Forum.

The annual meeting was to be held in the Swiss city of Davos-Klosters on 17-21 January 2022.

However, the forum was postponed until early summer. Nevertheless, participants will join the online sessions "State of the World".
