Energy Minister: Azerbaijan does not plan to join OPEC

April 23, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said the ciubtry has no plans to join OPEC.

"The issue of Azerbaijan's accession to the Organization of Petrleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) is not on the agenda," Shahbazov emphasized.

He informed Azerbaijan is satisfied with the current situation of cooperation in format OPEC+.

"We are cooperating closely with OPEC and are satisfied with this cooperation. In the future, we will continue to cooperate in OPEC+ format. We are satisfied with the current situation," he said.
