Migrants working illegally in Russia may be expelled from the country

December 28, Fineko/abc.az. Foreign citizens may be expelled from Russia from 1 January for illegal labor activity.

ABC.AZ reports that information about this is posted on the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. It is reported that the temporary measures adopted by the President of Russia in relation to migrant workers expire on 31 December 2021. The Russian MIA strongly recommends that foreign citizens who do not have documents contact the internal affairs bodies before the specified date of employment.

At that, employers must formalize employment relations with foreign employees and report this within three days.

The fine for illegal workers is up to 5,000 rubles.
