January 6, Fineko/abc.az. The procedure for obtaining citizenship by foreigners in Turkey has been simplified.

ABC.AZ reports that the decision on the change was signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. According to the document, the main provisions and criteria for obtaining Turkish citizenship are defined as follows:

1. Purchase of real estate, the price of which starts from $250,000;

2. Deposit to the bank for $500,000;

3. Purchase of securities in the amount of $500,000;

4. Purchase of government bonds in the amount of $500,000;

5. Purchase of shares of investment funds for $500,000;

6. Opening of 50 jobs.

Those who comply with at least one of these provisions and criteria will automatically be granted Turkish citizenship.
