Tax benefits on mandatory health insurance services extended

January 13, Fineko/abc.az. The term of exemption from VAT for provision of mandatory health insurance services in Azerbaijan has been extended until 1 January 2023.

ABC.AZ reports that in this regard, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has approved today the amendments to the Tax Code.

According to the amendments to Article 164.1.51 of the Code, tax benefits for compulsory health insurance services have been extended for another 1 year.

Their validity expired on 1 January 2022. The VAT rate in Azerbaijan is 18%.
